LPC Exam

The LPC Exam was developed by the Loss Prevention Foundation (LPF) Exam Committee, comprised of loss prevention professionals and credentialing experts. It is 200 questions in length and you have 3 hours to complete it. Each question is multiple choice and varies in degree of difficulty. The LPC exam topics include:

  • Business Principles
  • LP Operations
  • Safety & Risk Management
  • Crisis Management
  • Supply Chain Security

Canada

The certification courses were designed and are maintained by the Loss Prevention Foundation, (LPF) located in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA. LPF has entered into an agreement with Retail Council of Canada (RCC) to offer this certification nationally throughout most of Canada (English Only). The content of this certification was developed based on US practices and philosophies and the proctored examination is based on this specific material.

The education and Certification Programs offered through Loss Prevention Foundation is not designed to address every aspect of loss prevention or replace any company or corporate policy and/or training provided by your employer. Nor are the Certification Programs intended to advise with respect to or otherwise represent any laws or legal requirement in Canada or in the various provinces, states or countries your company may be operating in. As a successful Loss Prevention Professional, it is essential to be familiar with all applicable laws, regulations and policies as relevant to your position, your company and any geographic locations you are responsible for.
